Welcome to the 2016 school year. We are a community focused Year 7-13 co-educational rural school of 860 students. We welcome new enrollments and trust that all of our students will have a enjoyable and successful year at Katikati College.

As we move towards the end of term we are focusing on our value of Citizenship - taking care of others.
We want our students to think about how they respond when they are asked to do something. Sometimes when we give our young people an instruction to carry out, they can be somewhat reluctant. How they reply with what they say and their body language can have a very big impact on how things eventuate from that point.
Parent/ teacher Interviews
The next parent/ teacher interviews are on Thursday 7 th July. We look forward to seeing you there. Year 7 & 8 interview times are available from 3.30pm. Year 9-13 interviews from 4pm. Both finish at 6pm.

A new programme celebrating and promoting careers in the primary sector has been launched by Prime Minister John Key, Primary Industries Minister Nathan Guy and senior Ministers at National Fieldays.
“Growing Our Future – Primary Industry Champions is a series of videos with well-known and everyday New Zealanders working in the primary sector. The first video includes Richie McCaw, Sir David Fagan, and Rob and Sonia Waddell, among many others,” says Nathan.
